2. What We Collect

We collect no personal information. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics identifiers, or advertising pixels. The only browser storage we use is a single localStorage key ("cs_cookie_consent") to remember that you have acknowledged this policy, so we do not show the notice on every visit.

3. Uploaded Content

Files you upload (images and videos) are transmitted via encrypted HTTPS directly to our AI processing partner (fal.ai, a US-based service). Files are held only as long as necessary to complete your generation request — typically minutes. Generated output URLs remain accessible for up to 24 hours to allow download, after which they are automatically and permanently purged. We do not access, view, review, or retain any uploaded or generated content.

4. Third-Party Processing

Your uploaded files are processed by fal.ai (fal.ai Inc., USA) under their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. fal.ai does not use your content to train models and applies automatic deletion policies consistent with our commitments above. We encourage you to review fal.ai's privacy documentation at fal.ai.

5. PIPEDA & PIPA Compliance

This service is designed to comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA, Canada) and the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA, Alberta and British Columbia). No personal information is collected, used, or disclosed by Contour Studio. If you believe a privacy obligation has not been met, contact us at info@contourstudio.art.

6. Your Responsibilities

By using Contour Studio you confirm: (a) you hold all necessary rights to the content you upload; (b) no content depicts real individuals without their explicit, documented consent; (c) no content involves minors in any capacity. Violations result in immediate and permanent access termination and may be reported to applicable authorities.

7. Security

All data in transit is protected by TLS 1.3. We implement HTTP security headers including Content Security Policy, HTTP Strict Transport Security, and X-Frame-Options DENY on all endpoints. No user-uploaded content is ever written to our own servers' disk storage.
